Terms of use
These terms are the agreement between you and Cubbyful for using Cubbyful. By using the app you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your data.
Your account
Keep your password to yourself and tell us if you think someone else is using your account. You must be at least 13, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live. You can delete your account at any time in My Kitchen > My data.
Plans and payment
- Taster is free and shows ads.
- Cubbyful Plus ($4 a month or $36 a year) and Family Table ($8 a month or $72 a year) remove ads and add features listed in the app. Extra cubbies are $1.99 a month each on a paid plan. Prices may differ by country and include any tax the store adds.
- In the iPhone and Android apps you pay through Apple or Google. Subscriptions renew automatically at the same price for the same period unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play account settings. Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their rules.
- If a paid plan ends, the app goes back to Taster. Your extra cubbies' contents are kept but locked until you subscribe again.
- If we change a price, we will tell you before it applies and the store will ask you to agree where it requires that.
Food safety and recipes
Recipes, best-by estimates, storage times, nutrition, prices and allergen tags are general guidance and can be wrong. Check labels, cook to safe temperatures, and when in doubt, throw it out. If you have an allergy or a medical diet, check every ingredient yourself. Cubbyful is not medical or nutrition advice. Prices are estimates and stores' prices vary.
What you post
You keep ownership of reviews, recipes, photos and notes you add. You give us permission to store them and, for things you post publicly (reviews, Members' Picks), to show them in the app with your first name. Don't post anything unlawful, hateful, misleading or that isn't yours to share. We may remove posts or close accounts that break these terms.
Members' Picks
Members' Picks is a free weekly pick of a member recipe; no purchase is needed to take part. The prize, when offered, is described in the app. Apple and Google are not sponsors of it and are not involved in it.
The app
We work to keep Cubbyful running and accurate, but it is provided "as is", without warranties, to the extent the law allows. We may change or stop features. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to what you paid us in the 12 months before it, except where the law doesn't allow limits. Nothing here limits rights you have under consumer law.
Apple
If you use the iPhone app: these terms are between you and Cubbyful, not Apple. Apple has no duty to provide support or maintenance for the app and is not responsible for claims about it. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them. Apple's standard end user license agreement also applies.
Changes and contact
